Libby and Andrew’s Quidnessett Country Club Wedding

I don’t even know where to begin with Libby and Andrew. They were absolutely an amazing couple to work with. Two of the most beautiful people ( inside and out) that I have ever met. Their love for each other just overflowed through-out the the entire day. Libby and Andrew were beaming with smiles from beginning to end. In fact, Andrew continued to seem overcome with happiness that he had just marred the women of his dreams. It was just about the sweetest thing we have ever seen. Working with people like this is absolutely infectious and makes my job truly a joy. When I first met Libby I instantly knew I wanted to photograph her wedding. Libby is just so much fun, warm and genuine, and had the biggest binder filled with her wedding details I had ever seen 🙂 Quidnessett Country Club provided the perfect setting for this seaside themed affair.

The day of their wedding the weather was just perfect. I met Libby and her bridesmaids at a nearby hotel for some getting ready photos and then we headed to the beautiful venue. They were married on site by a close family friend, keeping the energy fun, light and filled with love. Libby and Andrew are clearly a fun couple to be around and all their guests made that quite clear. All for You Dj did an amazing job as usual, and once the dancing got started it didn’t stop. I ended up taking so many fun dancing shots it was hard to chose just a few for this blog. Libby and Andrew thank you for having me such a bog part of your day. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness.

Matt and Melissa’s Wedding Crystal Lake Country Club

Matt and Melissa were married on May 24th 2013 at the beautiful St Augustine Church. They say rain is good luck on your wedding day, and I believe this to be the case. While it did rain, this did not stop us from getting some magnificent pictures. Melissa booked the Providence Public Library as a back up for photos in the event of rain. Rain or shine we were fully prepared. Melissa has a special place in my heart as she was my oldest daughters kindergarten teacher several years ago. It was truly an honor to be such a huge part of her most special day. The reception was held at the picturesque Crystal Lake Golf Club. It was just perfect.Every detail accounted for. Melissa and Matt danced the night away with their family and friends. Melissa and Matt I wish you both a lifetime of happiness and love as you start your married life together. Thank you for having me.

Second Shooting with Michael David Spirito Photography

What better way to kick off my blog then with a post documenting one of my second shooting experiences with Michael David Spirito in Newport RI. Second shooting is quickly becoming one of my favorite things to do in photography, second to being the main shooter that is. The difference with second shooting is that there is a sense of less pressure to get everything just perfect and more room to relax and try new things. This often results in tons of learning and new experiences. Of course its always nerve racking to hand off your card at the end of the day and relinquish control but its also part of the fun. I had the wonderful opportunity to second shoot with Michael David Spirito Photography as we documented the fabulous wedding of Keith and Marcia. They had a totally unique and wonderful ceremony at the historic Jane Pickens Theatre in downtown Newport. Friends and family arrived and mingled in the theatre lobby, enjoying an array of old time snacks and beverages. After the ceremony the party began at the beautiful Newport Yachting Center just in time to take in the beautiful sunset over the water. The entire day was simply perfect and I had such a wonderful time working with Michael. Here are some of the images I captured from this spectacular day.
