Tracy and Glenn: Beavertail/ Narragansett Wedding

Tracy and Glenn were absolutely amazing to work with. Their genuine, kind spirit just makes you feel at ease and comfortable when in their presence. This same energy was felt in every detail of their wedding day. I met Tracy at the Tower House B&B in Narragansett for some getting ready photos before heading to the ceremony. The weather worked in our favor as Tracy and Glenn had a beautiful cermony at Beavertail Lighthouse in Jamestown, married under an arbor handmade by Tracy’s father. As the fog rolled in it made for some pretty great photos. We stopped along the way to their reception for a few more photos, soon making our way to one of my favorite spots in Narragansett, the North Beach Clubhouse. Located on the gorgeous Narragansett Beach you can not beat the location and the view. The rain threatned but continued to hold off long enough for a dazzling fireworks display. The perfect way to kick off the dancing that continued well into the night. Thank you for having me a part of your wonderful day. I wish you both so much happiness.

Lynzie and Sorran: Married Whispering Pines

I was so excited ( and honored) when Lynzie first reached out to me about doing her wedding photography. We not only grew up in Narragansett together but we also shared our Hebrew school expereience. Something that just binds you for life in a way. Lynzie was planning her wedding here in Rhode island, while living in Florida. Not an easy task. They chose Whispering Pines at Alton Jones which has quickly become a favorite venue for me. Nestled in the stunning grounds and pine trees Lynzie and Sorran took their vows under the beautiful chuppa in front of all their friends and family. After the ceremony guests enjoyed a night full of dancing outide on an absolutely grogeous summer evening. Lynzie and Sorran thank you for having me be a part of such a beautiful day.

Kelly and Brian Married: Harbor Lights

Kelly and Brian were married at the beautiful seaside Harbor Lights .It was one of the most emotional, heartfelt weddings I have had the pleasure of photographing. The love and faith Kelly and Brian share is so incredibly strong and deep its clear they are going to buid an incredible life together. Kelly looked absolutely stunning with gorgeous hair and make-up by the amazing team at Ali Lomazzo Beauty Guests danced all night long. What a celebration! The gorgeous couple then enjoyed a picture perfect end to the night with a beautiful sparkler sendoff. Kelly and Brian I wish you both a lifetime of happiness together. Thank you for having me be such a special part of your day.

Courtney and Josh

Courtney and Josh had the perfect Newport Summer wedding. They chose to do a first look so they could enjoy their cocktail hour and visit with friends and family. After getting ready at the Newport Harbor Hotel, Courtney met her waiting groom on the docks of 41 North. There they had an intimate first look and enjoyed some moments alone before doing formal photos with their wedding party. We strolled the docks and took in the sights on this most perfect summer afternoon. We then took the short walk from 41 North to their ceremony location at the Newport Yachting Center. Their friends and family were gathered for a sweet seaside ceremony. The celebration continued as their reception was kicked off by the most beautiful sunset I do believe we had this year. Courtney and Josh and all their guests were drawn out onto the docks to enjoy this glorious sunset together overlooking the Newport bridge. Certainly one for the books. The amazing sounds of ‘ The Hub’ had everyone dancing and on their feet under the beautiful lanterns adorned throughout the tent. Courtney and Josh, thank you for having me and I wish you both a lifetime of joy, laughter and happiness.

Karissa and Derek Get Married: Rhodes on The Pawtuxet

Derek and Karissa had the most beautiful day and I was so thrilled to be part of it. I met Karissa and the ladies at Hotel Cafe Dolce Vida. I knew immediately this was going to be such a fun group to work with because the room was so beautifully decorated for Karissa. There were photos of Derek and Karissa all over the suite, custom signs and pom pom’s, everything was just so personal and fun!

The ceremony was held at the Providence College Chapel and the wedding party was actually transported by the PC Friars personal bus. That is certainly a first and it was so cool!! After the ceremony we headed to Roger Williams Park for photos and then off to Rhodes on the Pawtuxet for dinner presented by Russel Morin Fine Catering The ballroom was lit up in beautiful peach uplighting that made the room feel warm and inviting. Beautiful candles and flowers graced the tables all done by Golden Gate Studios. Sweet Tooth and Sugar babies kept the party going and are a such a fun band to have at a wedding. Interacting with the guests and play such a great variety of music. Karissa and Derek I hope you both enjoy a lifetime of joy and happiness and love. Thank you for having me be a part of your special day. xx

Libby and Andrew’s Quidnessett Country Club Wedding

I don’t even know where to begin with Libby and Andrew. They were absolutely an amazing couple to work with. Two of the most beautiful people ( inside and out) that I have ever met. Their love for each other just overflowed through-out the the entire day. Libby and Andrew were beaming with smiles from beginning to end. In fact, Andrew continued to seem overcome with happiness that he had just marred the women of his dreams. It was just about the sweetest thing we have ever seen. Working with people like this is absolutely infectious and makes my job truly a joy. When I first met Libby I instantly knew I wanted to photograph her wedding. Libby is just so much fun, warm and genuine, and had the biggest binder filled with her wedding details I had ever seen 🙂 Quidnessett Country Club provided the perfect setting for this seaside themed affair.

The day of their wedding the weather was just perfect. I met Libby and her bridesmaids at a nearby hotel for some getting ready photos and then we headed to the beautiful venue. They were married on site by a close family friend, keeping the energy fun, light and filled with love. Libby and Andrew are clearly a fun couple to be around and all their guests made that quite clear. All for You Dj did an amazing job as usual, and once the dancing got started it didn’t stop. I ended up taking so many fun dancing shots it was hard to chose just a few for this blog. Libby and Andrew thank you for having me such a bog part of your day. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness.

Aubree and Elizabeth’s Destination Wedding in Narragansett

Aubree and Elizabeth chose Narragansett as the prefect destination for their intimate wedding. While they make their home in Texas they chose the serene beaches of South County to exchange their vows. Blueberry Cove Inn served as the perfect full service bed and breakfast, from flowers, to cake, to officiating the wedding were taken care of by owner Seely. When discussing the plan for the day Aubree and Elizabeth basically left all the timing and locations up to me. (This has never happened, and needless to say I was SOO excited) Of course I chose a time of day when we would have the best evening golden light and the locations I thought would both offer serenity and ocean views. When I arrived that day they were both getting ready together and I felt like I had known them forever. We took pictures and chatted and everything just seemed so natural and calm. After taking some photos at the Inn, the only two guests arrived Elizabeth’s brother Roger and his partner. Then it was off to the beautiful coastline for their photos. While the day tuned out to be more overcast than sunny the sky sure didn’t disappoint. We had a blast taking their ‘formal’ photos with no pressure to have to be anywhere at any specific time. The love the have for one another is just palpable and made my job such a joy and truly inspiring. After we felt like we had all the photos we wanted to take we met Seely at the Narragasnett Beach and decided to walk to the furthest point on the beach, where Narrow River meets the Ocean. The perfect spot I thought for two lives to join into one. We stopped and took some photos along the way and then when we reached the perfect spot Seely took over and officiated the most beautiful, honest and simple ceremony I have ever experience. I myself was wiping tears away behind my lens. What a perfect way to start a life together. Their happiness and joy was overflowing as they officially became wife and wife. Aubree and Elizabeth it was truly an honor to be a part of such love and I wish you both a lifetime of happiness together.

Tracy and Glen’s Narragansett Engagement Session

Tracy and Glen are getting married in a town very close to my heart, Narragansett. Born and raised here there is so much to love about this classic seaside town and I thought it was the perfect spot to do their engagement pictures. The weather was iffy and while the rain held off till the end, the clouds were certainly threatening the entire time. We started off on Hazard rock and then made our way to the light house in Pt. Judith so we could take some photos with their adorable three legged pup Griffey. Let me just say that he is the sweetest little guy and FULL of energy and the perfect model. I swear he was posing for every photo.

Tracy and Glen I can’t wait for your wedding this summer and I had so much getting to know you both better. Here are some of my favorites from our time together.

Matt and Melissa’s Wedding Crystal Lake Country Club

Matt and Melissa were married on May 24th 2013 at the beautiful St Augustine Church. They say rain is good luck on your wedding day, and I believe this to be the case. While it did rain, this did not stop us from getting some magnificent pictures. Melissa booked the Providence Public Library as a back up for photos in the event of rain. Rain or shine we were fully prepared. Melissa has a special place in my heart as she was my oldest daughters kindergarten teacher several years ago. It was truly an honor to be such a huge part of her most special day. The reception was held at the picturesque Crystal Lake Golf Club. It was just perfect.Every detail accounted for. Melissa and Matt danced the night away with their family and friends. Melissa and Matt I wish you both a lifetime of happiness and love as you start your married life together. Thank you for having me.
